Hi there! We're Carlos and Karen, happily married for 11 years and blessed with three energetic kiddos—we're the heart and hands behind GEN126 Skincare, right from our cozy home in Temecula, California. Back in 2020, Carlos had this eye-opening "aha" moment: fed up with joint aches, tummy troubles, and stubborn acne, he dove into a low-carb, carnivore lifestyle that amazingly healed it all. Along the way, he discovered the healing of grass-fed beef tallow—a super-nourishing gift from nature, loaded with vitamins A, D, E, and K, plus fatty acids that perfectly match our skin's own oils for ultimate hydration, gentle repair, and calming inflammation.

Carlos whipped up his first homemade tallow balm to clear his acne, then shared it with me (Karen) while I was pregnant with our first little one—it kept stretch marks at bay like a dream! He tweaked and perfected the formula to make them completely odorless (or delightfully scented like our vanilla cream), packed with organic goodies, and oh-so-luxurious on the skin. Fast-forward to now: we're a growing family of five, and tallow is our everyday hero—for whipping up sunscreen, soothing boo-boos, tackling diaper rash, and keeping everyone's skin happy and glowing.

In 2025, we felt God's gentle nudge to share these family-favorite products with you all! That's why we launched GEN126 Skincare, inspired by Genesis 1:26 (ESV): "Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'" To us, this verse is a loving invitation to care for God's creation wisely—tallow from His livestock is one of those wonderful gifts, helping us heal, protect our bodies, and live with joy and purpose in the world He made.
